The 22nd Rendezvous’ dream team was once again chaired by Linda & Douglas Von Allmen and Fonda & Wayne Huizenga, Jr, along with “Mr. & Mrs. Donald J. Trump as our honorary chairs. The festivities kicked off with a christening of the beautiful new 130’ Miss Michelle. The most amazing display of fireworks ever lighting up the sky over many impressive yachts. James Bond inspired many martinis during the drink contest. Jeanette & John Staluppi and their yacht Quantum of Solace easily took 1st place in the 007 Contest. Their yacht even had an Ashton Martin onboard. Ladies enjoyed an afternoon fashion show lunch on Worth Avenue. Friday night Fever was in full effect at the private cars of Dreams Museum. The afterparty at Rybovich included more dancing and even some karaoke. Saturday’s Grand Prix was once again a major hit. Admirals Club Members enjoyed a private cocktail party at the magnificent home of Susan and Robert Tomsich. Mr. Donald Trump greeted guests at his exclusive club for an elegant and formal affair. Event Founders Rita and Rick Case along with First Lady and Governor Charlie Crist encouraged all to donate to the Boys & Girls Clubs. Gene Reed started the Admirals Club with a generous challenge raising much needed funds for the kids. New admirals include: Jeannie & Steve Hudson and Nancy Giordano and Joe Umosella. Donna Summer had the dance floor packed all night especially “ The Last Dance”. Another amazing Rendezvous weekend.
