The 26th Annual ShowBoats International Rendezvous was held November 21-23 at the beautiful Atlantis, Paradise Island and was chaired by Jessica & Mike Busacca and Steven M. Mariano and event founders, Rita & Rick Case. Featuring sensational mega-yachts, a spectacular fireworks display, and Saturday night Gala performances by Dennis Miller and Kool & The Gang, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County’s 26th Annual ShowBoats International Rendezvous was the biggest and best event yet. The three-day weekend of festivities kicked off with the Thursday night Yacht Hop. Guests dressed in nautical chic attire were treated to ‘the good life’ as yacht owners and captains did their best to out-do one another and impress their newly boarded guests. The weekend opened with a tremendous fireworks display presented by Sparktacular, while guests toured the yachts and enjoyed cocktails, fine wine, gourmet food and Island-inspired entertainment for a night to remember. Continuing with the fun, Friday, November 22 featured a scavenger hunt and gambling lessons. The day’s festivities finished with a Hot Havana Nights featuring dinner, cocktails, and live entertainment by Caliente. Saturday, November 23 featured a Bloody Mary drink contest aboard participating yachts and a slot tournament. The action-packed weekend concluded with a cocktail party and black-tie-optional Gala featuring an exciting live auction, gourmet dinner, and special entertainment by comedian Dennis Miller and Kool & The Gang. The evening concluded with The Mariano Foundation matching all new Admiral Club members’ donations. Another fantastic Rendezvous weekend!
