The 29th Boys & Girls Clubs Yacht Rendezvous was held November 10 – 12 at the distinguished Fisher Island and was chaired by Christy & Larry Hierholzer and event founders Rita & Rick Case. The event started Thursday with the famous Yacht Hop at the Fisher Island Marina; guests were welcomed by yacht owners and captains to tour their fabulous yachts. Friday’s festivities started with a “Tea Party” and fashion show presented by St. John at the Vanderbilt Mansion Courtyard. The evening included a golf cart parade and “Mad Hatter” dinner and dance party at the Pavilion, and late night entertainment at Café Tangier. The final day of the event began with an “Unbirthday Party” with Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County members at the Town Center. Guests were encouraged to attend the BBQ and play outdoor games with the Boys & Girls Clubs kids. The evening began with an invitation only Admirals Club cocktail party. The “Queen of Hearts” Red Gala hosted at the Fisher Island Pavilion included amazing Alice & Wonderland themed décor, silent and live auctions, and entertainment by Huey Lewis and the News.
