The 28th Annual ShowBoats International Rendezvous was held November 12 – 14 on the super exclusive Fisher Island and was chaired by Christy & Larry Hierholzer and event founders Rita & Rick Case. The event began Thursday with the Yacht Hop at the Fisher Island Marina, where yacht owners and captains do their best to outdo one another and impress the Rendezvous guests. The party continued Thursday night with a dueling piano performance at Café Tangier with delectable desserts and cocktails. Friday started with a pool party and fashion show by Nieman Marcus Coral Gables. The evening held a golf cart decorating contest and a Miami Vice costume ball followed by an 80’s night club at Café Tangier. Saturday’s festivities included a BBQ with Boys & Girls Clubs members, where guests had a chance to interact with our amazing BGCBC kids. The event concluded with the “Moon Over Miami” Black Tie Gala at the Fisher Island Pavilion, where guests danced the night away with entertainment by The Pointer Sisters. The Gala included a fabulous silent & live auction, where our guests come together to raise money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.
