The 30th Annual Boys & Girls Clubs Yacht Rendezvous was held November 9 – 11 at the ultra-exclusive Fisher Island and was chaired by Christy & Larry Hierholzer and event founders Rita & Rick Case. The weekend began Thursday with a VIP party for all yacht owners and their guests at the Vanderbilt Mansion, followed by late night entertainment at Café Tangier including desserts libations and entertainment by the Rogue Theory Project. Friday started with a team scavenger hunt with team golf carts searching for clues around the island. Friday evening continued the Yacht Hop tradition where yacht owners and captains opened their yachts to the guests of the Rendezvous. The golf cart decorating contests was held along the marina, where guests could cast their vote for their favorite design. The party continued at Café Tangier with entertainment by DJ Cat Shell. The last day of the event started with a BBQ at the Town Center on Fisher Island where guests could meet some of our fabulous Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County members! The event concluded at Mandarin Oriental with the “Enchantment Under the Sea” Gala featuring a Silent Auction, Live Auction and entertainment by BGCBC alumni and pop sensation Jason Derulo.
