The 33rd Annual Boys & Girls Clubs Yacht Rendezvous was held November 4-6 at the ultra-exclusive Fisher Island and was chaired by Joe Dargavage and Carla Taylor and event founder Rita and Rick* Case.
The 33rd Annual Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County Rendezvous founded by Rita & Rick Case at the Fisher Island Club on November 4 – 6, 2022 featured the signature “Yachting Around the World” with a ports of call Yacht Hop, and on Saturday, November 6th in the Vanderbilt Mansion, an evening in Monte Carlo Gala with a live performance by Colbie Caillat. On Fisher Island, the weekend kicked-off Thursday, November 4th with a VIP Welcome Reception, Ports of Call Yacht Hop Event & Dockside Cocktail Party where the lifestyle of the rich and famous is truly emulated. Guests dressed in chic yachting attire were treated to the ‘good life’ as yacht owners and captains do their best to out-do one another and truly impress their newly boarded guests, followed by special entertainment. The excitement continued Friday, November 5th, guests enjoy the Polynesian Luau Feast Costume and Dinner Dance Party featuring Entertainment by DJ Laz. The Golf Carts were decorated incredibly! Guests dressed up in Hawaiian attire and danced the night away. Saturday, November 6th featured a Taste of The Nation Marketplace where a portion of the proceeds benefitted BGCBC. The excitement continued in the Vanderbilt Mansion for an evening in Monte Carlo, featuring an intimate performance by Colbie Caillat. The gala highlighted the heart-warming induction of Lawrence De George into the Dream Makers Society. Dream Makers inductees are individuals who have established a long-term commitment to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County for at least 10 years, have played a vital role in the development of a program or event that has had a significant impact on the success of the organization, and have personally contributed funds over $1 million.
